UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER KEPEMIMPINAN MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KISAH KERTARAJASA JAYAWARDHANA

The name Kertarajasa College of Buddhism (STAB) was taken from the first king Majapahit Kingdom, namely Jayawardana. It is hoped that use Kertarajasa’s will enable STAB academics to emulate his leadership character. However, this lose its meaning if younger generation, especially students, does not know and understand who he is. Therefore, study aims develop a character learning strategy through example historical figure, Jayawardhana, in special workshop for students. research method used quasi-experimental method, using pre-test post-test as form value internalization. Students are subjects directly experience activities (experiential learning). They were asked confirm values they learned Jayawardhana by self-reflection on nature cooperative learning.
